The Filling Station

Located along historic Route 66, The Filling Station in El Reno, Oklahoma serves as a gateway for travelers exploring the Mother Road. The project involved the renovation and adaptive reuse of a historic Route 66 gas station, preserving the character of the original structure while adapting it for modern use as a visitor center, office space, and a small interpretive museum.

The rehabilitation maintains the building’s historic identity while creating a functional and welcoming destination for visitors. Since opening, The Filling Station has become a well-recognized stop along Route 66, attracting travelers, families, and enthusiasts from around the world.
